Unfortunately, sitting inside on top of the air conditioner vent isn't an option when I have two toddlers who want to play and be moving - all the time.
Thankfully, Carowinds is just around the corner and the boys enjoy swimming and splashing. It always takes them a while to get used to the spraying fountains. When they can control the water, they think it's fun to dump buckets of it on their head. But, when they don't know when or where the water will come from, it scares them to get sprayed.

I discovered a bag of old Chuck E Cheese coins in the pantry the other day, so this morning the boys and I spent a couple of hours playing games and riding rides. Thankfully there were no birthday parties or day care groups there so the place was quiet. And air conditioned. And I wasn't lugging a beach bag.

Looks like you all are finding lots of fun ways to stay cool this summer. A little birdie told me you were coming to our neighborhood pool tomorrow. Hope to bump into you there!
