The Simple Thing that touched me this week really isn't simple at all. In fact, it's rather deep, profound, and special.
Deuteronomy 29:29 "The secret things belong to the LORD our God, but the things revealed belong to us and to our children forever..."
Ever have some difficult decisions to make? Ever struggle to choose faith when circumstances make that really tough? Ever wish and wonder and pray and research and investigate... only to be reminded that everything you ever need to know for this moment you already know?
I have. And that's why this verse has been especially encouraging this week. Relationships, ministries, finances - it's all in Someone Else's hand. My responsibility to is be the best steward possible with what God gives me, when he gives it to me.

ReplyDeleteSomething simple that touched me this week was a friend who invited me to join her for a girls' night out, and my husband who insisted that I go, and that he'd take the girls out on a date.

Yes...yessssss...have been learning so much about surrender lately. Obviously...b/c I'm learning so much...I haven't quite learned the art of surrendering...just learning about it! Loved your simple things!
