Things That Make Me Say, "Huh?"

I'm sure there is a reason for this. There must be. But try as I might to get an explanation from the boys, they couldn't muster up anything other than, "it just fell off when I touched it."
Although you can't really tell from this picture, but the boys are playing with Annalyse's baby toys, and she is playing with their cars. They were content like this for the longest time. I guess the age label on toys isn't really applicable after all.
After church last Wednesday I was putting Micah's pajamas on and discovered a pink princess pull up. I'm as positive as positive can be that he did not leave my house and arrive at church wearing that.
My boys were busy riding their bikes around the cul-de-sac one morning and stopping to pick flowers. After collecting several fist fulls, Grady Lee went inside and "put them in water so they don't get thirsty." When we all came in a while later, this is the lovely arrangement I discovered.
This "construction site" sign wandered around my house for several days. When I would least expect it, lo and behold there it was randomly taped to something along with both my boys in the vicinity hammering and sawing and doing whatever it is they do with their tools.

  1. Oh, I'm having a hard time deciding which is my favorite "Hmmmm" moment! I've had the strange diaper/pull-up thing happen before at church, I think they just pull them from the wrong bag sometimes...
I love that little construction site sign! Priceless!

  2. What a cute post Sarah! Look at sweet Micah in that pink pull-up--now that's hilarious!! One Sunday, not too long ago, we came home from church and I went to go change Hud only to find out his diaper was on backwards!!! Too funny!

  3. Yep...I have to echo my friends...we've had the strange pull-up/diaper phenomenon as well. Much more strange with the boys wearing the girls than vice-versa! Love that your kids play so well together!
