I've been learning a lot lately. Actually, I've been reminded of things I already knew but had somehow put to the back of my mind and being.
Hebrews 13:5 - "Keep your lives free from the love of money and be content with what you have, because God has said, 'Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you.'"
Philippians 4:12 - "... I have learned the secret of being content in any and every situation..."
Matthew 17:20-21 - "...if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, 'Move from here to there' and it will move. Nothing is impossible with God."
2 Corinthians 5:7 - "We live by faith, not by sight."
Ephesians 6:16 - "In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one."
Nehemiah 8:10 - "... for the joy of the LORD is your strength."
Habakkuk 3:17-19 - "Though the fig tree does now bud and there are no grapes on the vines, though the olive crop fails and the fields produce no food, though there are no sheep in the pen and no cattle in the stalls, yet I will rejoice in the LORD, I will be joyful in God my Savior. The Sovereign LORD is my strength; he makes my feet like the feet of a deer, he enables me to go on the heights."
Psalm 100:4 - "Enter his gates with thanksgiving and his courts with praise, give thanks to him and praise his name. For the LORD is good and his love endures forever; his faithfulness continues through all generations."
1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 - "Be joyful always; pray continually; give thanks in all circumstances, for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus."
The Simple Things - promises and encouragement from God's Truth. So simple, in fact, that they are profound; life-changing; awe-inspiring; spirit-motivating; peace-giving; joy-filling.
