The Simple Things

So many Simple Things to be thankful for this week, I can't choose just one!

How about the wonderful weather and the chance to eat almost every lunch and dinner outside?

Or how about falling asleep each night with open windows and hearing the crickets chirp and the creek bubble?

Or how about two little boys who played wonderfully together all week, stayed out of trouble, and avoided any need of serious discipline?

Or how about my husband who wrote an endearing love note to affirm me as a wife and mom and to assure me that things we're facing right now will get better?

Or how about the fact that, pardon the directness, I've not thrown up all week? (That deserves and Amen!)

Or how about hearing a heartbeat and seeing kicks and rolls and hand waves from your precious little one?

Or how about simply living in light of a Risen Savior who holds all of life in the palm of his hand?

So many Simple Things to be thankful for this week, I can't choose just one!
