Each year our family looks forward to December and the advent of Christmas. We are excited to see and do unique holiday-related things, we anticipate simple family traditions, and we delight in celebrating Jesus' birthday.
Some years December has been a blur of parties and events, but this year wasn't. And I'm thankful for that.
We had an unusually busy fall combined with an unusual amount of travel for Grady, so when December came I was intentional about scaling back on Christmas hullabaloo. I was also careful to put my camera down and just enjoy moments rather than document moments.
Hands down Christmas Eve and Christmas Day are two of our favorite days of the year! We have traditions at have become special to our family and each year they seem to grow sweeter and more memorable.
