Complaining?

Hot. That's what everyone is. Not warm. Not flushed. But hot - very hot.
I'm not complaining though. No sirree. Last summer I was very hot and very large and very sick and very tired. This summer I'm just hot. I can handle just hot.
I'm not complaining about being hot because there's still plenty to keep us moving and keep us busy. Our city lives for and breathes out family-friendliness. The options abound and many of them are free.
I'm not complaining about being hot because it's a short three months out of an otherwise, in my mind, perfect year-round climate. And, no matter what the temperature, my boys are always happy to be outside. Sweat may drip, but they want out. Or, teeth may chatter, but they want out.
I'm not complaining about being hot because "This is the day the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it." Psalm 118:24. Nope - I'm not a fan of hot temps. But I'm doing my best not to complain.
