Gopher Buddies is in full swing and Grady Lee is giddy every Wednesday asking a hundred times a day if it's "time for my special Gopher Buddies class yet?"
It's a sad, sad thing when I know he enjoys Gopher Buddies so much that I have caught myself threatening to stay home instead of going if he doesn't change certain behavior. Trust me though, it works. He would likely sit criss-cross-applesauce with his hands in his lap for a couple of hours if I told him he needed to in order to go to Gopher Buddies. Hhmmm... that has me thinking...!
Here is the little man sharing the Gopher Buddies theme, his first verse of the year, and his favorite song to sing at church. There are some, um, well, other entertaining moments as well. Take a look:
He has one of his teachers from last year, Mr. Nathan, who he adores. He also has a new teacher, Mr. Reggie, who he thinks is pretty fun too. The only problem is that Grady still struggles with saying his "r's" so Mr. Reggie sounds like Mr. Weggie. There is no sweeter sound than hearing Grady Lee pray for Mr. Nathan and Mr. Weggie before bed. (So sorry Reggie - I'm working on the "r" sound, promise!)
